Himanthi Mendis
Himanthi is passionate about applying water sensitive urban design principles in her projects. She has completed integrated water management assessments and alternative water supply strategies for several clients at both site-based and regional scales. She has practical experience in the detailed design of civil and water infrastructure as well as natural stormwater quality treatment systems. She has been involved in the hydrologic and hydraulic modelling of urban and rural catchments for complex and bespoke developments. She strives to challenge industry standards to innovate and create great cities for people to live in. In this way, she works to improve the sustainability of the built environment.
