Michael J Aberton
Dr Michael Aberton is an experienced ecologist who has always been drawn to the water and natural resource industries as a consultant for the last 20+ years. From researching the soil-borne oomycete pathogen Phytophtora cinnamomi in the Anglesea heathlands and at Wilson's Promontory during his PhD to various projects throughout his career, there have always been two common trends, conservation and rehabilitation. Michael loves to spend time on waterways both inland and at the coast and this has lead to all sorts of exciting and challenging projects.
