Michael Newham
Michael is a Principal Scientist in Qld Government Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, leading the Queensland River Management Program (QRMP). The QRMP collaborates with on-ground practitioners to develop decision support tools to enhance river management and rehabilitation planning and evaluation. Michael has over 10 years experience in government translating scientific output to policy applications, particularly in fields of river and estuary water quality management and development impact monitoring and assessment.
