Daryl Lam
Daryl is a Waterway Scientist with over 15 years of experience in research and consultancy. Daryl has experience in waterway assessment and management, with particular focus on palaeoflood hydrology, fluvial geomorphic processes, and sedimentology. His background in physical geography has also allowed him to undertake a variety of projects including water quality assessments, coastal processes and management and natural hazard resilience works.
Daryl is a certified environmental practitioner (CEnvP) and specialises in palaeoflood reconstruction. Daryl holds a Doctorate degree in Environmental Science from the University of Queensland, Australia. He has published articles in prominent scientific journals including Quaternary Science Reviews, Water Resources Research, Geomorphology and Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment. Some of his palaeoflood works are referenced in Australian Rainfall and Runoff, 2019. He continues to collaborate with other academics in advancing research in the field of geomorphology and palaeoflood hydrology.
