Chamantha Athapaththu
I am an environmental scientist specializing in fluvial geomorphology and have high level technical skills in GIS. Currently employed at Hydrobiology under the land and water management group involved with geomorphic analysis of waterways.
I have strong technical skills in spatial analysis, remote sensing techniques, hydraulic modelling and catchment rehabilitation. Through my academic qualifications and work experience, I have gathered a broad knowledge of catchment management across various disciplines including geomorphology, ecology, environmental chemistry, economics and water governance.
I am interested in improving the resilience of catchments to face future challenges of climate change and urbanization. Happy to collaborate.
