    • Context: The project aimed to address challenges in holistic river management to maximise systems-scale outcomes in the Southern Murray-Darling Basin.
    • Problem: Stakeholder engagement and effective communication are critical for project success.

    • Methodology: We developed succinct messaging (approximately 1 minute) for the MDBA EEWD project.
    • Communication Products: Six tailored communication products were created to engage key audiences across the Southern-Basin project.
  3. What have you learned?
    • Results: Clear, concise messaging is essential for diverse stakeholders.
    • Human Synthesis: Generative AI assists but cannot replace human synthesis.
    • Project Synthesis: Simplification enhances understanding and support.
  4. Why does it matter?
    • Implications: Project members benefit from understanding project goals and communication strategies.
    • Broader Knowledge: Insights contribute to stream management practices.
    • Application: Similar approaches could be adopted by other project teams.
